I Purchased a mixed-use building in Stevenage, Hertfordshire in October 2021 for £600,000. Our plan is to convert the property into four individual apartments. At that stage, the flats will be refinanced and rented out to generate monthly cashflow & also benefit from any future capital appreciation. This project is currently on-going.
The Work
In order to convert the mixed-use building into four apartments, we will first need to carry out a small double-storey side extension. This should create sufficient space on the ground and first floor, which could be create two apartments per floor.
